Reverend Cindy Worthington-Berry
(978-589-8062)

Rev. Cindy Worthington-Berry is called to a ministry of creating meaning, compassion and connection in communities of faith. Ordained in the United Church of Christ and an affiliate pastor in the Unitarian Universalist Assocation, she specializes in ministry with multiple-denomination churches, valuing their theological diversity and openness.

Rev. Cindy received her Mastor of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School in 1996. She has served churches in Attleboro, Marblehead and Westwood, MA. Rev. Cindy lives in Tyngsboro with her husband, Paul, and their sons, Spenser and Lincoln, who are also active members of First Parish!

Office Assistant Laurie Fiore
(978-692-8350)

Laurie joined the church staff in the fall of 2005. With many years of administrative experience, Laurie keeps the First Parish office running smoothly.

The part-time hours of the church office are perfect for Laurie as she is kept busy with an active husband and two busy sons on the home front. Laurie enjoys cooking, entertaining and, with her family of avid fans, cheering on the Boston Red Sox.

Laurie comments that the warmth of Rev. Cindy and the congregation attracted her to work at First Parish. We know she continues that warm welcome, extending it to the many visitors and callers in our busy office. Drop by and see!

Music Director Nancy Eberiel
(978-692-8961)

Nancy Eberiel comes to us with 30 years as a church organist and choir director. She holds both an MS in Biology (Boston University, 1968) and an MS in Music (Univ. of Lowell, 1982).

In 1984, Nancy and Corole Todaro founded the Westford Suzuki School. Suzuki training has taken her to Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, Pasadena, CA, Berkeley, CA, Kingston, Ontario, and Chatauqua, NY.

Nancy maintains the central studio for WSS at 4 Depot Street. She also plays cello in the Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Orchestra.

Director of Religous Education Katey Schwind
(978-692-8350)

Katey Schwind joined the staff at FPCU after majoring in Religion at Middlebury College in Vermont. She is passionate about world religions and the dynamics between them, so a united church like FPCU with a diverse RE curriculum is a perfect fit for her.

When not at FPCU, Katey loves to spend her time at home playing with her pet bunny or exploring the great city of Boston (an opportunity she didn't have growing up in the suburbs of Rochester, NY). She also has a secret passion for musical theatre, which she would love to someday incorporate into the Religious Education program.

With the enthusiastic and welcoming members of First Parish, Katey has found that she is learning as much as she is teaching, and she hopes it stays that way for a long time!
